Please excuse the newb. I have installed webcalendar onto my joomla site and am using mysql db's. My problem is that I am trying to setup webcal to notify users of additions to my public calendar. I would like my users to be able to create an account one time from my home page and have those credentials carry over the webcal. I am uncertain as to what needs to happen for the two db's to share that user info. Secondly, if this is not possible, I cant figure out how my visitors would create a seperate account at webcal. Any suggestions will be most appreciated.

WebCalendar is a great application (I use it as a module ported into a static site), but I wouldn't choose that for a Joomla site--there are integrated Joomla Components for events that would avoid the problem.
However, your issue is discussed here: http://www.k5n.us/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=authexternaldb |
