Default Links In Mambo

I'm a bit confused how to refer to linked attachments in Mambo.

If I want to create a directory called documents and place documents to be linked to in this directory--so via ftp it would be available under the public_html directory as /documents.

Then within Mambo when someone creates a link via the Tiny HTML editor, I assume the link would be http://www.sitename.com/documents/NameOfDocument in my linked documents directory -- but this doesn't work.

So, (sorry for being so longwinded) when I create a link in the HTML editor what point is it referencing. Is it public_html?

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

there is a public_ftp directory which you may be able to use for this. If you are using a different directory, you will need to check the access rights to ensure that users can access this.

Please post the error message that you recieve so that we can narrow down the cause of the problem.
