I had problem with TinyMCe too - and resolved it initially by installing TMEdit which is what SiteGround support recommended (and did for me, bless 'em!)

However, I've just opened a site up with Joomla & had issues with editors, which were resolved by getting support to change Joomla configuration.

Would suggest you raise a support ticket, let them look in your admin side & they will usually be able to resolve. However, I know that there were some issues with Mambo that could only be resolved by a reinstall.

Hope this helps.

I had a similar issue, after installing TMEdit I still had problems so I eventually purchased the commercial verison of TMEdit, XHTMLSuite (http://www.xhtmlsuite.com/). This was the best money I ever spent, the added features have made maintaining our Mambo sites so easy.

Yeah but it doesn't seem like such a good deal if you buy the domain license, since they don't allow you to transfer the license to a different domain (believe it or not, some people might need to do this) after you buy the license. Just my opinion.

Default XHTMLSuite

Like most things in life you get what you pay for. The free version is lacking in several areas and the commercial version seems to not have any problems.

As for the price, if you are working on multiple web sites then it would be a cost of doing business to purchase a tool. This is something you always have to balance against the time consumed fighting with the free tool.

I am not disputing that. I agree, that you get what you pay for. However, I wasn't referring to the free version.

Well not everyone who works on multiple websites are running a business, or even works for one. There are many hobbyists out there who work on multiple websites, and I'm pretty sure not all of them have the capital to purchase an unlimited or server license, which costs a fair whack. I would prefer to buy the domain license (which is a whole lot cheaper - if I was just running... say... 2 or 3 websites), knowing that I can transfer it to another domain for whatever reason. vBulletin users will know what I mean, since vBulletin allows license holders to transfer their license from one domain to another (just as an example).

That's all I was getting at. If I was running multiple websites, I would not have a problem in buying a separate license for each one, or choosing another license option, if I had the cash to do so. My problem was with the fact that for whatever reason, you cannot transfer a domain license to a different domain, once you buy the license. If some companies can allow the option of transferring your license to a different domain, then I don't see why it can't be done with XHTMLSuite.

Just my opinion.
