Hello,
I am relatively new to Mambo.. and I am looking for a user friendly and stable picture/photo gallery component. I know there are several to choose from.. RSGallery SPGM zOOm MGM and so on... But I am having a tough time evaluating which one would be easy for non-technical end users to use.. Any suggestions? Or at least which one or two to stay away from? Thanks in advance |

I have installed all of those galleries you mentioned, but I think zOOm gallery and Ako Gallery are the easiest to use. You may try them and give us your opinion

I am also using Zooom gallery on all the sites I have. Sometimes it's giving me a headache, but tried others. Zoom is still the best to use. At least for me

I have installed:
zOOm stable and beta 2.. neither one worked well right out of the box then i tried rsgallery.. too simple, hard to navigate.. still not there still looking for spgm install to go with module.. not quite brave enough to try... so.. I installed coppermine, and will try the hack mentioned in the other post for intergration into mambo... cover me.. I'm going in! I crack myself up.....

I'm presently using Coppermine without the bridge on one site but I use Gallery on 3 or 4 other sites. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. When it works, it is the best integrated gallery. When it doesn't, it's frustrating!
