i was in the control panel....trying to install Joomla....but i could not get past step 2.......

The installation can not be completed:

Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain xbltourneys.net (path="/home/xbltourn/public_html/").You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:

Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors.

and i want to leave the directory blank so when u type in my site...it goes directly to it.......can any1 tell me how to remove those--offlinebar.php

It seems that in your webroot folder, there are some filenames that are conflicting with the Joomla installation. You can delete those files, and try to install the Joomla again:

These are the files:

offlinebar.php
COPYRIGHT.php
LICENSE.php
CHANGELOG.php
INSTALL.php


You can delete them from the FileManager in cPanel, from FTP, or you can ask our tech support to do that for you
